Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to help architect, build, and maintain the infrastructure that powers our blockchain protocol and decentralized AI compute network. You'll work at the intersection of blockchain, GPU orchestration, and AI workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for multi-component blockchain and AI systems
- Automate deployment and monitoring of validator nodes, GPU compute nodes, and other core infrastructure components
- Manage infrastructure across cloud and bare-metal environments (especially GPU-heavy nodes)
- Build tooling for node operators to run and maintain performant and secure nodes
- Collaborate closely with protocol engineers, AI researchers, and security teams to optimize infrastructure for AI workloads
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and security; implement observability and alerting systems (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Optimize GPU resource utilization and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Slurm, etc.)
- Harden infrastructure against attack vectors common in blockchain networks (DDoS, sybil attacks, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with decentralized governance decisions and coordinate network upgrades
Qualifications
Must-Haves
- 3+ years of DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience
- Deep experience with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Nomad, Docker)
- Familiarity with managing GPU-based compute infrastructure (NVIDIA drivers, CUDA, etc.)
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Experience managing infrastructure for high-availability systems
