What You’ll Do

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling backend systems that power:

• Our RPC infrastructure for blockchain interaction
• A non-custodial wallet backend that prioritizes performance, security, and reliability
• A real-time block explorer backend that serves fast and indexed on-chain data

You’ll collaborate with a highly motivated team of engineers and work closely with DevOps, frontend, and protocol engineers to ensure our systems are fast, reliable, and developer-friendly.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure backend systems
• Optimize and maintain our custom RPC endpoints, enabling faster and more efficient blockchain interactions
• Build and maintain backend services that power wallet functionalities (account management, transaction signing, gas estimation, etc.)
• Develop indexing and querying systems for our block explorer, capable of handling real-time blockchain data ingestion
• Integrate with various blockchain protocols (EVM-compatible and others)
• Design data models, APIs, and caching strategies for highly available microservices
• Monitor and troubleshoot backend performance, latency, and reliability issues
• Collaborate with frontend and DevOps to ensure end-to-end system efficiency
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Stay updated with the latest in blockchain technology, backend engineering trends, and performance optimization techniques
