We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who can lead backend architecture and development efforts, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing systems that power our core products and services. This role demands ownership, technical leadership, and a drive to build infrastructure that lasts.

What You’ll Do

• Create and develop robust backend systems and APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and architecture planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and data to ship end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed services.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend services.
• Ensure security best practices are followed at every level of the stack.
• Mentor junior engineers and help establish best practices within the engineering team.

Skills We’re Looking For

• Advanced proficiency in backend languages like Node.js, Python, Go, or Java.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, system architecture, and data modeling.
• Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar container orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Proficient in unit/integration testing and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
